anyway, im no longer living in Cebu, philippines. im currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona! im pretty excited. i havent lived here in america since i was 10, so ive gotsalotsa re-adapting to do. hehe and im also living on my own now. Graduated college, and out from under my parents roof. so hafta get a job, balance work and art and all that crap. haha big change, and alot to be nervous about, but exciting at the same time.

so if any of my buddies are here in phoenix... whut up? haha


oh! and now that im in the states, im thinking about selling my art and stuff. hehe so no actual plans in motion yet, but just letting you know. so, um, you can save up your money i guess? lol

okay, the end.

ive noticed that all of the best artists here on deviantart never respond to comments on their artwork. some of them are obviously due to the fact that the amount of comments is just too overwhelming to try and reply to each and every one, but there are others who dont have a plethora of comments on their artwork, but none of them have any replies. and this very commonly happens to be artists who are very, very good.

they make a mind-blowing piece of artwork, have a line or two of cryptic description, then let the art speak for itself, callously ignoring all the comments of commenters, fans and worshipers. theyre so awesome, they dont even need to bother with engaging in the petty thoughts of those inferior to them.

so id like to inform you all that, in an endeavor to become the greatest artist in the world, i will no longer be replying, or reading, or even be thinking or even caring at all about any of you at all in any sense.

not in the least.

anyway, i apologize for being away for so long! its my stupid ISP's fault. nothing under the deviantart.com domain would load on any computer under the ISP im using, and unfortunately, all the other internet sources that i could get to easily are using the same ISP! figgers. so its been that way for like, weeks now, which has really been pissing me off! i just got my deviations back to a manageable number, now its back to over 100! hahah oh well.

so anyway, now that im back, im glad to get back to seeing peoples new art and commenting and uploading!

as far s my aart though, ive been rather stumped lately. ive been having sort of an 'artists block' for the last few weeks. im sure its in connection to the insane amount of stress ive been getting from school. usually, school work gets my brain stimulated, and, in turn, my imagination up and running! thats why most of my artwork occurs when im AT school! lol but this recent semester, it hasnt really been stimulation ive been getting from school, more like just pure STRESS! sooo many projects, and requirements that i have to fulfill before the deadly deadlines. ive just been drained. so i dont have much more new artwork to be uploading, but i do have some old stuff. hehe

as for the 'break' in my title. i think im gonna be taking a break from drawing quarquettes for a while.
i really like them, and i have a few more to upload yet, but as far as drawing, im gonna try to do other things. like i said, i still really like this series, its just that ive been drawing them so much and pretty much ONLY them for the past few months, and on top of the fact that the style is so simple; ive found that im having a hard time drawing anything ASIDE from quarquettes... any characters i try to draw seem to end up having the same teeth and eyes and bean-shaped body! its a little bit frustrating! hahah

so im gonna try and steer away from them for a while probably. heheh but now that DA is up and running on my computer, i DO have alot of art that im behind on uploading, so be on the lookout for that!
